Honestly, I want to write any useful review. I do not dissect and evaluate each song individually. I just want to give a 5 star this album.
I am Muse fan since there are Muse and was therefore initially quite alone. For me, Muse has always been the band that can express my feelings. I think Matthew Bellamy for a giant genius who can do anything musically what he wants.
But then came Resistance and I hated this album. The bad thing about Resistance is that it is so normal. No song, except maybe the last two is somehow particularly ... There are songs on the Resistance, for which I almost feel ashamed. Muse has always been special.
The Resistance was poor commodity for me. I know there are many who claim the opposite. But I just felt nothing more. I've assumed that we "have lived apart" stop us. It happens just in a ten-year relationship.
But the 2nd law is again. Muse. Strange, different and extreme. You may make of me from everything, the main thing, I see the genius again. Songs like Explorer and Follow me I do not need. So I would have to possibly deduct a star, if I wanted to calculate a percentage.
But Supremacy, Survival, 2nd Law: Unsustainable and Isolated System also Big Freeze are just too good for 4 stars. I have heard through the new album yesterday 14 clock (delivery) until this morning. Sometimes I sit there and can not believe how perfect the music for me. I can not explain, but my great love Muse is back.
