The music itself is without being pedantic meticulous, passionate without sentimentalism, mysterious but not cheesy. You can feel the specialized detailed work behind it, but also a passionate relationship with the project. To put it short: this album has it all. I have to also provide a broadband jazz rock Ambient radio punk classical listeners no qualms Dead Can Dance to the music Olympus; and "Within the Realm of a Dying Sun" is definitely the masterpiece.
It's a rarity, I have the "Realm" dozens of people played over the years, many found it too dark or "depri", but everyone had to admit that the music itself is awesome beyond.
No matter what you hear as you're on it, (if you're not just limited to your music consumption on Charts) you have my full purchase recommendation.
