The booklet contained includes the story around it to ACT ONE ACT TWO and so you (even without knowing the series) can think about is, what it's the Musical. I find this a very good idea, because the songs are recorded directly behind the corresponding point of the story. In addition, the book includes the complete song list and the full texts for the songs.
Overall, the CD cover and the booklet make a good impression.
Personally, I liked the songs very well, as they are all very nice and spread good mood. Furthermore, I would say that the CD is also suitable for people who do not yet know SMASH as TV series and like musicals. The quality of the CD is also good and it can be out hear no noise or other interference. Furthermore, I think it's great that on the CD not only songs of the main characters of the series such as Ivy and Karen are included, but Bernadette Peters, Christian Borle or Debra Messing are represented.
Overall I would recommend this CD at any time without restrictions. Who liked the cover and more poplastigen songs, should also take up the first SMASH CD The Music of Smash. I am pleased with this CD and will use them to drive me the long wait until Season 2.
