The pure and simple beauty of past exploits will be replaced from the "Viva La Vida" by unimaginative Stadium Schmonz. In place of timeless instrumentation (piano, acoustic guitar, Jonny Buckland's creative electric guitar) synthesizer riffs and overproduced sound carpets (which the band for the rest live only with solid technical - gets reproduced assistance - and personnel?). That's all still vertragbar, were it not a fundamental problem: the quality of songwriting decreases so rapidly, as one previously knew most of Oasis. It may be that the new sound to cover up the no longer existing ideas. It's also not really matter: The time, have in the Coldplay touched me (when drunk with lovesickness ran through the summer night and "Yellow" buzzed), is over. The band plays in my musical cosmos no longer matters what you may be relatively not care, because their "new" fan base is much wider. Musical gentrification quasi;) ....
