After Quadro Nuevo sporadically the Tango plays repeatedly on the CD - and this in an extremely virtuoso manner - is here now (almost) pure tango CD before: here are both classic Carlos Gardel, Astor Piazzolla (most of Mulo France arranges) and others as well as his own pieces (of DD Lowka, Andreas Hinterseher played Mulo France and the 'new member' Chris Gall, piano) - once again to kneel down beautiful and glorious 'refreshing'. And always somehow inspired by the tango.
But I have the CD initially demanded some patience, because I enjoy for years both the music as well (and certainly also in particular) the mixture on the longplayer. But this mixture is on this CD is not so clear. Although I Quadro Nuevos audio book 'Love Tango' had heard before, I had probably secretly hoped that many more other pieces would find (unrelated to the Tango) on the CD into place.
So I recommend (not only) to bring each Quadro Nuevo fan some time, because in the end, this album is exceptionally beautiful!
The addition of the quartet by Chris Gall at the piano like it incredibly well. It fits perfectly to the Quartet, to tango but certainly also for the 'remaining' world music that we can enjoy from Quadro Nuevo otherwise. Just listen to the music composed by him piece 'El titiritero' ...
Maybe the spark would have jumped a little earlier when I used 'detained' me in the dance school less at my cola glass than my dancing partner would and would at least internalized the basic step of the tango.
Conclusion: This CD is definitely not just for die-Tango fans. Instead, you can enjoy the tango rhythm gorgeous soundscapes, deep melodies and can be a little bit of jazz take you into a completely different world! The mood that tried to convey the previously released audio book is great transports: Tango is no dance - Tango is a way of life!
