A fantastic album that Tony, Phil and Mike hereby were delivering. It forms along with the albums "Genesis" and "We Can not Dance" the triad of modern Genesis, followed up by two live albums and Collins eventually left the band. The album "Invisible Touch", structured and meaningful than "Genesis", classical and more insistent as "We Can not Dance" is clearly a classic for me. Already the opener * InvisibleTouch *, beginning with an E-Drum-storm (then very fashionable :)), tears immediately to let a big breath with no. Then, the atmosphere is deepened with * * TonightTonightTonight that reminds me of * * DreamingWhileYouSleep ("We Can not Dance"), deals with the disturbing and numbing effects of drug addiction, and creates goosebumps. * * LandOfConfusion, almost too often heard on the radio, with wonderful social criticism. * InTooDeep *, reflecting its calm and melancholic atmosphere the feelings of the song, the inner despair perfect. * * AnythingSheDoes, the driving rhythm, the punchy bass drum, some opinions defiance: the song I just enjoy! * Domino * in Part 1 and 2: typically modeled on the old prog phases of Genesis; a "10 minutes" AGENT,, a lot of atmosphere, style changes and a profound story ... sure, much more homogeneous and far no longer the sprawling experimentation of earlier, but that is in this case perfectly fine. * ThrowingItAllAway * - to include a song around the eyes and dream to himself, melancholy and beautiful. * * TheBrazilian, an instrumental and experimental pieces, originally arose from a randomly picked portion of a jam session and looped. An original conclusion of a great album.
