For PS4: my PS4 has gone 2x broken (first exchange by Amazon went smoothly, the second case, I wanted to be carried out by Sony, where there were problems, which I will describe the same). 1x the controller has been replaced due to wear and tear on the left stick.
For warranty on Sony:
I have sent my PS4 for repair after a phone call, two weeks later got a PS3 (!) Back. I called there again. They apologized and promised correction of the error. I sent the PS3 off again, and got another week later the same PS3 one more time back.
Then they told me on the phone, it was a mistake, you might not consider what happened or what console went out. I should submit a complaint mail that would be forwarded so that the case could be reviewed.
Said and done. After the big waiting began. Nothing happened. In emails I only got the message "is sent to the appropriate department." Even phone calls brought nothing, because I could not be connected through the PS Phone employees.
I sent sometime a registered letter and at the same mail out a deadline and threat of a lawyer. The letter was ignored.
So I went to the lawyer who sent a letter out. The time allowed has expired there later this week. Sony I have nothing (!) Is, I have my PS4 still not back. But here is the aforementioned PS3 that I have not sent back to the second delivery because you're my request failed to receive a DHL sticker.
What I also should note: warranty claims at PS consoles are performed by a service provider, Cycleon BV based in Holland. Ultimately, of course, has this service the error (or the replacement of the console) gives, and not just Sony. Sony, however, has proven to be in charge and my contact person for this warranty not cooperative, as mentioned above, all time limits (also my lawyer) ignored and not even responded despite my case, according to today (5:11:14) testimony of a telephone employee in the jurstischen department for processing is located.
Result: a warranty claim, as it can happen every day, probably ends up in court!
Evil is not even the problem with sending the PS3. Is bad, that I will consistently ignored.
EDIT:
Ultimately, after the action was still an extra dishes agreement was, so I got a new PlayStation 4 and all my expenses were reimbursed.
At least the number has found a happy ending for me, even if I can only shake my head about this case remains.
