My "fair-weather camera"

Due to the blunt, rubberized coating the approximately 175g heavy camera is very comfortable to hold.

The package includes in addition to the action camera, USB cable,
multilingual quick start cards, a camera bracket, two mounting plates and two mounting arms.

On a permanent fixture, I have deliberately omitted.
Due to the weight of the camera I do not want to attach permanently to a bicycle helmet this.

Not included is a micro SD memory card!
I used a 4GB memory card can record 25 minutes of video (1080p setting) or 1010 photos (16MP).

If you have worked through the Quickstart Guide, it may actually go already loose!

When darkness the images are slightly blurred or washed out.
Lovingly I would call this camera "fair weather camera".

A bit annoying I find the flash "operating light" that shines either green or red.
The recording light can be switched off in the menu,
but in this case does not recognize that the camera actually takes, because of the dark display.

Can be activated in addition a "beep" sound when you press the side buttons.
I was annoyed this beeping after a few minutes, so I have this disabled again.

Garmin indicates the battery life of 3 hours is actually just this. 2:30 hours, when on "gimmicks" waived.
I especially want to praise, which can be replaced, the battery easily.

The battery is charged via the USB cable, which also serves as a transmission cable for photo and video material.

Overall, it's for me a robust camera with a light menu of the Garmin "more could get you out!"

Why no image stabilization in all settings?
Why no lens cover?
