Now for suitability:
Who would have also presented other, the properties of the fiberglass blade are hardly comparable with those of a steel blade. When new, it is not very sharp. What I've done so mostly, was the opening of letters. If the paper was slightly stronger, which could be a rather clunky affair. A box I get to address it only with much effort. As sharp as the blade leaves a maximum grind, I have not tried yet. Perhaps would be even more possible, but can already be seen now unsightly fraying at the cutting edge of what I conclude on the lack of hardness. The edge-on that is certainly not a good sign.
Conclusion:
Although the Nightshade series is a nice try by Cold Steel, but she could really convince me not unfortunately. From collectables purpose apart, in addition to the weight savings and better weather resistance more than the price difference between fiberglass and steel blade would be a reason to buy (cf.. Steel Tiger), otherwise I see no further advantage in it. Certainly played in developing this Karambits also the aspect of self-defense, a role, but the disadvantages outweigh yet very strong. In my view, it is only limited fit for use.
