My holiday savior

Should you with your women and children this summer in the vacation planning long trips ... for you!
With this portable DVD player you can watch while driving concentrate on the essential or also like to talk to your wife, the children will not distract you definitely by impatient cries from driving! They are, after all, only at the destination ;-)

I want here sometimes go into the properties of the device, which have convinced me and not conceal the points that have ultimately cost the fifth star:

+ Large display
+ Class colors for such a small device (only dark colors is partly missing, the contrast)
+ Built-in speakers and headphones with excellent sound
+ No (!) Wobbles while driving, absolutely clean continued running of the discs
+ Battery lasts about 2 1/2 hours for the main unit when both displays are connected, the device goes well, but then runs about 30 minutes less
+ Compatible used as a DVD player on TV
Included + charger, or network cable is also supplied
+ Remote control properly and incl. Batteries
+ Second screen (analog control over the main unit, volume separately adjustable)

-> Super first impression

But now to the (small) drawbacks:

- At an oblique angle, the image becomes a little darker
- Holder for headrests

-> As the device is intended for mainly for use in the car, I think only the last point of annoying. Unfortunately, I have not seen a device which has solved this problem really satisfactory; and without buyable additional equipment.

Overall impression: Well, just to the 5 * by order of the bracket. This cost me a few nervous until the part was as appropriate, that it is not just down falls or keeps satisfactorily. But I had seen the ears free while driving, because the kids loved DVD and CD listening. As they have done with the headphones I was relaxed by the end of the trip; These were, after all, 10 hours on a big break. Oh yes; the screens can not be distributed using the supplied connection cables back and forth, as the supplied connecting cables are a little short for that.

In this sense I wish all fathers of families a relaxing holiday with their family and their children and not return to the state of füher .... now I need vacation from the vacation trip :-))

Addendum: The described by some hum on the second monitor occurs when we do not (more). This problem has yet surprise us after repeated use and entered plöztlich after conversion from car to car to. The problem was solved with us by turning off and then plugging in the cable connections from device to device. Since this hum is no longer occurred.

However, can be heard on the main unit a discreet hum from time to time. This is caused by the slightly unstable closure of the device, so that you feel has the CD gets a little too much play and can therefore slightly eggs when the unit is running. When listening with headphones, this is however not a problem.
