For about 5 euros (including shipping), this cable is used to connect an old parallel printer (without USB port) EPSON Stylus Color 440 into a USB port
Warning:
1 / off PC and printer
2 / leave the old traditional cable connected to the printer (Centronics 32 big catch)
3 / put this adapter cable at its end (taken DB25)
So its short length (90cm) matter
4 / connect the USB plug to the PC
5 / turn on the printer
6 / turning on the PC
There is no message, but the printer appears in the Control Panel
(Although it is not required, a restart of the PC may be required)
