Clearly, this unique piece of music neither intercession yet another recommendation has needed, but when asked about "my classic" I have not a split second to think about what is (and despite the fact that I am very versatile music lover): Jarret's Köln Concert. I loved it as a child. As a fourteen-year-old I've heard it every night and later I bought it as my first CD. In Jarret play in this concert is so much of what it has to offer the life: curiosity, surprises, dedication, vulnerability and an overwhelming emotional spectrum, but not least, the infinite power of the people and maybe even wisdom, in the sense that all this will be lived. Today I listen to this music rarely. How too good a drug that is economical to dose. I know every sound, every pause, but I keep discovering new pictures and new stories. A music not only for, but as a life.
