So far, I have always had a Lide50 scanner installed only Windows PCs and mind for a long time. After changing to the iMac Lide50 no longer ran ... too old. Thanks to the rapid delivery of Amazon is now the Lide100 on Mac. When you install Snow Leopard appears that the software is not compatible. Just ignore: the scanner as well as the software to function entirely flawlessly. Unlike Windows XP / Vista and the Lide50 now work the scanner buttons on the device itself. Unlike in the past when a scan no preview window appears in which you can specify the scanning cut itself. Whether this is intentional or occur only under MacOS I do not know. So far, however, all the images and documents have been perfectly tailored. All scans can (but need not) be saved as PDF, also good for further processing. With Aperture 2 images from the Canon MP Navigator software can be imported, iWork 09, even images / scan documents. Conclusion: certainly not a scanner for photo fanatics and DTP professionals, but for home use and all super sufficient. Full marks!
