The picture is beyond any doubt. Razor-sharp HD, SD still very good quality, even tickers are not a problem. For me very important was fast switching time, even in this area of the VU + Solo² convinces. The switching times be less than one second. It does not matter whether is switched from SD to HD, HD to SD, or between HD channels. Even switching to encrypted channels ala ORF1 HD is immediate. The need to ORF card is operated in the integrated card slot ie without CI module using SCAM. Advantage of this configuration is that during recording of an ORF transmitter at the same time a second can be seen or recorded. For remote control, I can say little because I control the receiver with my Harmony 300. As long as I used the original remote, I could find no reason to complain, and even now, the viewing experience designed using the Harmony without any problems. The keystroke will be implemented at the same time, each input is registered and you do not aim directly at the box with the remote control. The Solo² ansich runs absolutely silent, no noisy fans, tweeting or similar power supply, even with the heat generation, the box no problem. I save recordings on an external 2.5-inch hard drive. Had 3 simultaneous recordings (1x HD, 2x SD) run without that there were disturbances in the reproduction of files.
