I have read a lot about the Hue system, taken both positive and negative criticism to heart. Property me in addition to Hue Starter Pack ordered 2 pears and use everything for about 2 months. Here is my conclusion:

The price (had caught an offer here caught on Amazon with starter + 2 lamps for about 285) had extremely put me off and now I say it: Stay away if you can not afford it, because ... you've started, could you want;).

I use each 2 bulbs in 2 different IKEA paper Floor lamps (in 2 rooms). The light is then diffusely scattered and you can realize the hottest gradients. For larger floor lamps with 3 Pears certainly more beautiful. The official Hue app for iOS is ok but is fairly rudimentary. However, there are very good alternatives in the AppStore and I ended up with a totally awesome app that allows dreamlike widgets, so you can operate the lights from the start screen of the iPhone quickly and easily.

The color spectrum is not perfect, as many other reviewers mention. Green is relatively weak, but sooo weak then again not. However, turquoise is rather a white with color cast ... luckily I do not like the color eh than light. Very class the warm spectrum is covered ... yellow, red ... The cool tones purple to blue are juicy, but generally appear darker ... Well, the color perception of man worketh with also.

I use the lights more than mood lighting ... the skylight is a normal warm white LED lamp that I now only anmache when I absolutely need maximum brightness, otherwise are my Hue every day. In rainy weather, they lift my mood immensely. I use a floor lamp A 2 Hue in the bedroom and would always wake up to a sunrise ... divine!

At first I thought I would play with the lights and then at some point have only 1 or 2 color combinations that I always use, but the fact is: I often play with the colors around and very often find a different color, which I each on My mood adapting ... So: no entertaining fun, but certainly potential for more.

I plan to purchase additional 2-4 Hues (possibly also n Stripe), but to be honest: 1 star must be removed, because the price (2/3 star) is juicy and the weakness in the color space (1/3 star) force me to.
