The Neptunes consisting of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo are back together with her pal Shay Haley as NERD and provide with "Seeing Sounds" her 3rd studio album from. The first book "In Search Of" the three boys was pretty good, the follow-up "Fly Or Die" was then already geradr still bearable, but what Pharrell & Co. have delivered here is almost beneath contempt. A mixture of hip hop, funk, pop, rock and alternative sound ... very experimental all while may well good things come out but not with "Seeing Sounds". "Time for some action" includes ne typical baseline as they actually use the Neptunes in many of their songs and the song sounds totally monotonous and boring. Songs like "Everyone Nose", "Spaz" or "Kill Joy", the somewhat faster speed and sound very twisted and spacey as true as pure nothing. "Antimatter" is such an, albeit small, bright spot the more goes towards hip hop and covered with scratches but is not really berrauschend, just as the rocking "Happy" or something inspired by the saxophone with jazz " Yeah You ". Only alone the funky "You know what" makes a reasonably good impression, but this is clearly not enough, and helps the overall standings of the album is not really more. NERD have landed with their new album "Seeing Sounds" a handle in the toilet, because this speaks to a so almost nothing and many songs on the LP sound just like that then produced. With a clearer line could have been quite able to make a good alternative work from the various elements, but it is missing here, so I advise everyone definitely to listen and if necessary to apply other alternative works the front wheel.
