I think it is pointless (as Herbert von Karajan) to write a comment about the artistic quality of the recordings with the "century-singer". Perhaps one could comment on the technical side of this shoot; but here shows that all recordings are ranked at a very high level. For both these reasons, the present CD is highly recommended if you have a soft spot for Italian opera music in general and for the finishing art Puccini in particular. HHB
