Since a glass bottle had broken, replacement was needed. The new bottles have a screw top, which I think is visually beautiful and aufkriegen my children better. But: During the leftover old bottle always work without hesitation, I have with the new bottle every now and then a problem that they do not seal properly during effervescence. It comes to the loss of pressure, partly to bubble over, so that approximately 2 cm of water from the bottle through the bottle cage, where I have to get them out by sponge. I do not know what it is, maybe the fact that the edge of the screw-top bottle is narrower?
ADDENDUM: I just phoned the hotline of Sodastream. The problem arises because the seal conforms to the 8eckigen bottle and then not clean seals in screw-capped bottles. I now get a package label, and the unit will be returned and replaced the gasket to guarantee.
Nachtrag2: One Chicken worked perfectly, I even get a new device plus a new carafe. Who has the same problem, you should definitely call the customer service of Sodastream. I use now only the new carafes and it works flawlessly.
