I have gained this lens as an allrounder for the holidays. The size is perfect and the focal range is more than adequate. After the first test shots, we can say, the lens is remarkably sharp at all focal lengths. Only not on a mechanical shutter GX7, GX1 or GF1 (I tested it on all three cameras). Only the electronic shutter of the GX7 brings tack-sharp images at all shutter speeds and focal lengths. By mechansichen closure are significant blurring between 1/80 and 1/640 of a particularly at the telephoto end, unfortunately, on the agenda. And in scenes with fine structures (hair, branches, fonts, etc.), it then falls in part to very clearly. It is called then probably "Shutter Virbrations" or "Shutter Shock" and is caused by the mechanical shutter in combination with certain lenses. The same problem I've had the Panasonic Pancake 14-42 with power zoom. After I tortured myself a little by the vastness of the Internet, which the particular Objektve is probably unfortunately a "by product" may bring to different MFT cameras with them. Two stars there that the stabilization really works amazingly well make (in video mode) and the recordings with the electronic shutter also really fun. But on a camera without this feature (for example: GX1) is my copy virtually unusable - the lens would otherwise get from me 5 stars. In my prime lenses I've never had this phenomenon until now.
