In this "Bibi" -Adventure all little girls should your heart beat faster. "The Princess of Thunder Storm" is a real girl radio play with pink ball gowns and phrases such as "Do we want to play princesses at the ball?". And of course, Bibi accomplishes also happen to be a good work. This story may be a little to build on the good old Bibi-consequences and should convince the fans. It is nice that the family Thunderstorm is again one of the party who knows the industrious listeners already from earlier episodes. Although the theme of time travel is old hat and it was not Bibi's first foray into a different time. Nevertheless, a whole new adventure has arisen, which knows how to convince. The best, however, I like the Irish accent of Bibis relationship. You almost hear that the speaker only adjust their voices, but precisely this circumstance reminded even more of old productions and can smile a while listening. For me, this result is clearly one of the better Bibi-plays and the duration of 42 minutes is sufficient.
Of course, in this radio play adventure should not miss the mandatory Bibi Blocksberg theme song. As for the other soundscape, this falls back discreetly, almost sparse, but is still sufficient and especially the ballroom scene is then very successful. The sounds are for abundant and let all the scenes are very much alive.
The speakers were very mixed. The Irish Blocksberg relationship is wonderfully spoken by Antje von der Ahe as Margie, Monica Bielstein native Cecilie and Erick Räuker as Father Patrick Thunderstorm. The Irish accent is amusing and easy to scream. Boje, Bernd Vollbrecht and Maximilian Artajo are more big names, which can be heard in this radio play sequence.
This result has pleased me very well and proves that with time-tested style means and acts a very good storyteller can be produced that can inspire especially the older fans. Especially the familiar characters make this episode a little highlight. Hopefully, the next episodes can build here.
