MC Rene has extremely evolved when it comes to his rhythm and his choice of words, however, remains the good old Reen, Flowt as then lightly cook with a wink on the beat at the Carl Crinx really always did a good job.

The texts cover - as with "Renevolution" - almost anything on fun tracks on philosophical visions of the future, guide how to enjoy his presence, to times wistful, sometimes self-deprecating flashbacks. Especially the latter make the album especially for people pursuing Reen long time, a true culinary delight. The countless allusions to episodes from Renes career and milestones of his work are really fun!

The vinyl deluxe box comes with really lush scope: In addition to the album on vinyl comes Renessance selbiges also on CD and tape, as well as a download code (!). As a treat on top of that there's a repress of Renes debut RENEVOLUTION.

All in all, a very awesome piece of hip-hop history. Rene is - then as now - have not much meaning, and yet are also reflected in the new album all who hear it yet very enjoy.
