In both sets (handles) were visible on individual pieces of cutlery black dots (blowholes?) In the ground surface, which could not be removed because * in * the surface. In polished section were slight irregularities (raised strip) seen and felt, which are probably due to the original casting. In addition, isolated minor scratches (virgin) were visible in the ground surface. But most of the partially deficient sanding quality annoyed. In both sets of cutlery were there where the mat touches the handpiece is not uniform ran up to the top of the handpiece, but there more or less earlier (edge) and unevenly went to the polished surface, so that an increasingly shiny spout was visible.
Whether this "Italian" or "Asian" Quality is, at least for a set of this claim and price range (unfortunately) rather inferior.
Compared have two other much more favorable Cutlery ranges of capercaillie and WMF (home) from our possession at a much better quality of workmanship performed flawlessly.
The 3 stars are therefore largely due to the good design, two stars were withdrawn because of poor workmanship.
Update:
A cutlery set we have now exchanged, but the exchange set is the ground of the handpiece of the knife visible unlike the rest of the cutlery sets. We consider now return both sets.
