I bought this book following the very positive reviews in the media, but rather disappointed. The basic idea is nice, but it does not happen much. The first 100 pages, it happens even absolutely nothing! Certainly, it puts in the mood of Broken Wheel, little village of totally uninteresting Iowa, but the story behind. I also struggled to tie me to the characters, except Sara heroine who seems like an anti-heroine. The others are not really engaging, in the image of their city, even Tom is supposed to be the nice guy and falls in love, I just found cold and rude. Maybe if we had learned more about their past, it would have made the most exciting book. The story is not unpleasant to read, but it's not a masterpiece of "chick lit".
