Silent Alarm TFA push blue metallic sweep clockwork without ticking (Housewares)

Customer Review

I have for my elderly parents an alarm requires the criteria: Very easy to use (ie with mechanical pointers, not digital), no Wireless telegraphy, easy to read, a loud alarm, if possible no second hand, slightly suppressible by pressing the top, silent operation, Battery operation.

Despite testing hundreds of offers I did not find these features.
So I decided for this one who comes close to these requirements at least.
Why aufnötigt us the industry with alarm clocks second hand, I'll never understand - that make it all just expensive and often cause unpleasant ticking.
But the second hand is running here at least nice to slide, so you only hear what, if you hold the alarm clock to your ear - fine.
For my parents the alarm clock was still not the purchase because it is not powerful enough for this (slightly hard of hearing). So I keep it for myself.
For me, fits the buzzer that starts something gently and later violent. The silence of the movement is a boon.
So I can live with it - electromagnetic pollution free thanks to battery operation.
1 point deduction, because the pointers are not at all at night recognizable despite light coverings. The numbers themselves have no luminous dots.
