A stretcher is not, however, merely a zusammengetackerter wooden frame rough spruce slats. The picture is not, as is usually pulled over the frame and stapled but glued to the frame. The fact that the back cover of the canvas is missing does not affect the processing here is very clean. Just at the corners, here the canvas was glued on impact, which does not fit 100% - therefore basically two star deduction.
