My review is based on my personal opinion and experience of trying out of my camera. Other buyers may be very happy with this camera and then buying a good decision is of course been.
Seeking the small all-rounder to constantly have it. The Nikon is a travel zoom really compact and fits well in your pocket. The angled form is appealing, but it is not always safe in the hands - despite thumb rest on the back. The Pop Up on the top is extremely unfavorable position, as I took off my index finger of the left hand for shooting always right there and the lightning so could not unfold. But it can get used to you. The high resolution display and intelligent software make joy. A few manual controls there as well, but the automatic is quite well and you just can "point". The zoom is very good use. The image stabilizer might be even better, but even at maximum zoom succeed also pictures from your free hand. The low initial focal length of 30 mm is not enough for me, the other cameras can clearly better. The battery makes relatively early limp, with a day trip, it could just be (but I have also experimented a lot and the battery strongly demanded). The battery is charged via the USB cable into the camera, with a second battery so you have to have to buy an external charger so.
What mainly argues against this camera is the average quality of the images. The images are simply not focus properly and act mushy. Interestingly, the zoom level plays a minor role. One hat as the macro shot up to full zoom a consistent image quality. Interior shots have also not like me. So be of brownish hues Just looking greenish hues, etc. indoor shots with flash are indeed much better, but it remains at the mediocre image quality.
Two stars because Nikon is on the right path and I find the compact design very well.
