this kitchen scale of (previously unknown to me) manufacturer ADE falls in particular by its flat height of only 13 mm. Optically not the only reason why a looker, but also because of the noble stainless steel look. Otherwise, the balance measures approximately 24 x 14 cm. Even the manual in 7 languages [German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch] is worth seeing. A small A5 booklet with a cover sheet and imaging and tripartite declaration incl. Warranty. Striking and unusual, the large typeface, simple and easily understandable explanations and, not least, 3 years warranty! The handling is very simple. With regard to the initial start-up is necessary to know that the battery (CR2032 button cell) ready s included, so only the battery fuse strip must be removed. The surface (polished stainless steel) looks good and is easy to clean. I use only a damp cloth for cleaning. Due to the partly bad reviews I am the cleansing process, however careful in the keys, as these enter into the ground floor with the balance and I have a concern that this might (flour) penetrates dust, leading to the disorder (which I at this wishes to point again to the three-year warranty). I'll be watching this in the long-term test and, if necessary, here up data. So far, my hand is no reason to complaints.
Conclusion: A scale that stands out in many respects. Price / performance ratio is top, so 5 points.
