Take time photograph the information from the screen, magazine, book and send via Telegram or Whatsapp is not possible.
The video resolution is less than HD, specifically 854x480 pixels.
A "Selfie camera" is missing completely and also a LED flash, which can be used as a flashlight is missing.
The display is - dark and housing clunky even for this price range. The battery can not change it.
The favorable Huawei Y530 proves that it is better in this price range. Despite this, Huawei is even a little cheaper, it has autofocus (ups possible), a second camera and a brighter display.
Although the display of Moto E has a slightly higher resolution display (960x540 instead of 800x450) - but that does not stand out on, because the Moto E has no "homepage", "rewind" or "Menu" key as they are from Samsung knows. Like the Nexus models, dispensed with the Moto E on keys and maps them to the display. Part of the screen is thus lost for the keys.
At Huawei, the full display for applications.
The dual-core processor of the Moto E is sufficient, the 1GB RAM well intentioned but rather oversized. Compared with a smart phone with 512MB RAM will be recognized no appreciable advantage. Of the 4GB internal memory remain about 1.5GB for apps. Presumably, you can store data on an addition to buying an SD card - which I did not try. However, it should be noted that it is possible always less Apps on an external SD card move. Facebook and Google Search (with Google Now) need ever been to the 70-100MB if they are often used. However, this problem have all inexpensive smartphones.
Android 4.4 is identical to this simple hardware with version 4.3. While one delights as has Photo Sphere on Nexus devices, which falls on the Moto E lack sensors and lack of CPU / GPU power away anyway.
Performance default I could not tell the difference between the clocked with 2x1,2GHz Moto E and the clocked well with 2x 1.2GHz Huawei Y530 after two weeks copious test.
Both devices incidentally by Chinese companies originate (Motorola was US-American, was recently bought by Lenovo).
Also: While Huawei are the charger and headphones in, they are missing the E. The Moto Moto E only comes with a USB cable! Since this is a beginner smartphone, expected to be necessary in some cases to buy a charger and headphones. Then come again good EUR 20-30 plan.
Who wants to buy not a purely Chinese smartphone should look at the Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus. 5MP camera incl. Autofocus, "Selfie camera", Flash LED, same resolution ("instead of 4.5" 4) as the Huawei at smaller display but better display surface and feel. Nobler design. However, this phone is also good EUR 30 more expensive than the Huawei.
Since there are better alternatives in this price range, I would give each 4 stars, I give the Moto E two stars and not advise.
