I have 2 of these store bought, there was indicated that this would be compatible. After installation went nothing more. I have now Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) bought and installed laptop RAM (CMSX16GX3M2A1600C10) - although supposedly only 4 GB per slot are specified, are recognized 16GB and support - works great with 2x4 GB probably enough would. Unfortunately, the FSB Board is conditioned at 800 MHz
