I had the cover for the new iPad Air ordered 2. The shell does not fit the iPad 2. The Air hole in the back for the camera sitting in the wrong place. I also feel that the shell is too small. Compared to a shell of the Apple Store, the iPad leaves much just put in the envelope.
My guess here is that no original cases are sold as Apple cases.
My recommendation: Buy this item under any circumstances.
