Customer Review

This album is definitely not a placebo, because it undoubtedly contains many "agents".
It is striking that the synthesizer even more is used, it wafts in "Follow The Cops Back Home", bubbling in "Pierrot the clown", but always in the right dose, just so that it is clear that placebo mainly of the great rhythm section survived.
This new album is incredibly atmospheric and moving, what stands out especially in the ballads (my personal favorite is "Blind"), but also in the driving tracks like "Broken Promise". In the latter, I think Michael Stipe indeed redundant, but by his vocal contribution is Brian's vocals really only emphasizes even more - the inclined placebo fan happens to be hooked on Brian's ringing voice ;-).
Only one piece of it is not so bright and concise as usual: In "In the cold light of the morning", one wonders whether it is actually not quite sober or whether he exercises his drama studies; just great ...
The poor Englishman get the unoriginellste piece as the first single: Although "Because I want you" is very catchy, but can not compete with the other pieces of textual and musical ingenuity.
The rest of the world is better off with the final song on the album as a single, "Song To Say Goodbye" is an absolute hammer.
Hopefully tell us these three never Goodbye ...
Would love draufpacken a few more stars if it were!
