I installed this drive in a Dell M4500 laptop to replace a 500 GB. The disc is as quiet as the previous with the same access time and speed of reading and writing the original disc placed by Dell. It runs daily from 6 weeks without any worries. I'll see over time. I can only advise for its capacity / price ratio, typically offering reliable Seagate drives. Sale Amazon perfect, as usual.
