No smell, but fruit fly problem

This bucket has a really perfect ventilation. Biowaste is therefore quickly dry. Compared to other solutions we have here the advantage that no Gärgeruch forms, the spread each time you open the container in the apartment.

However, the hinge of the lid in the way when you insert one of the corresponding bags for organic waste. If one passes the edge of the rubbish bag on the hinge, a little wrinkle that prevents the perfect closing of the lid forms. Here missing a recess on the hinge.

Another problem is that the thin plastic cover on the edge not always flush and opens easily as during transport. Here, a sealing ring and a retaining member would be useful to keep the box always closed.

The fact that the lid does not close properly, get fruit flies to the waste. These can then multiply perfect to then escape into the apartment.

Conclusion: the right solution, I have not found so far. When compost buckets you currently apparently only choose between odor without fruit flies and fruit flies without odor.
