White? Not really, although no longer "standard yellow", but a lot brighter. Still look better in the headlights look as before, but it's all very subjective. But it was supposed to be known, which can be reached with special pears "white" light, but this is lost the light intensity and thus the safety. I have (ie security) brought me the pears because of the view, therefore, the light temperature for me is fine.
For life I can not say much, except that I have of course the H7 bulbs used very carefully and therefore hope to achieve full life. So far, there are two months, but with a relatively large amount (winter) night driving. Think the hold still long ...
