Noble Catan for collectors with small defects

First: The anniversary edition of Settlers of Catan is a beautiful game that you do not actually comes around as Catan fan. Unfortunately occur seemingly at many pawns material errors but replaced by Kosmos accommodating and fast. Even in my box number Stassen and villages were damaged.

The previous comments on pressboard and plywood I can only say as a carpenter: In the playing fields is MDF (medium density fibreboard) and this is the only correct material for this purpose. Beautiful indeed black solid-colored material would have been, but a version of the game fields in solid wood is technically simple nonsense, since all game fields would bend in a very short time.
