Black, smooth leather, lends this folder its quality acting classy look. The strong machined surface of the vamp makes it dirt and water repellent and gives the impression of artificial leather. However, as proof depends on the external zip pocket a piece of leather with embossed Alassio. Unlike displayed at the manufacturer, the exterior leather is underneath the zip front and on the back of two parts (new or old series?). Due to the partly not quite straight seams and singulated adhesive residue can only be described as the build quality good.
The plastic zippers are correspondingly smooth. Inside, the rear slide-hinged ample storage space and the Gummizugschlaufen for normal to thicker pins. The 4-hole ring binder holder prevents jamming of paper sheets in the zipper. For the so-called Euro-perforation holes with a standard stop for 888-hole is sufficient. An A4-block can be plugged into the slide-in from both sides, so one way or rotated by 180 °, the wallet is suitable for right and left handers.
Incidentally, the 4 cm internal dimension, external measures the folder 5 cm, so as meant more space and it weighs only 970 g.
So much leather as low, apart from the seams and zippers actually indestructible.
