Quantys QY100 / 1 solar radio alarm clock silver / white Looking for a silent successor for my getting on in years Junghans Mega, I came across the Quantys, I've now got for Christmas. A short summary: Pro: good workmanship, battery independent, very pleasant alarm (slowly rising in volume), individual design (I like it, but is a matter of taste) Cons: Despite explicit reference to silence but is a click to hear, namely, when the minute hand every 15-20 sec moved.. Ich finds almost annoying as the second click of the other analog clock, to which I have rather gotten used to, because it occurs very evenly. Second weak point is the lighting, which must be activated by pressing a button, and the bedrooms immersed in a relatively bright, blue light. Luminous pointer would be here in my opinion a clear advantage.
The disadvantages outweigh so heavy that I return the alarm clock and unfortunately can only awarded two stars for me.
