This cover seemed to be the solution to the problem with the constantly herumbaumelnden normal lens cap, but turned out to be unsuitable for my purposes. Attaching required almost a little violence and I feared for my lens. In contrast to the tight fit on the lens looked the three "wings" front little rickety, the crack in between were certainly big enough for grains of sand and other things should not go on the lens, but is still unfortunately often found in pockets. For me very disturbing was the creaking noise that arose when turning and associated unscrewing the lens: a camera that you can conveniently switch absolutely still, it is particularly annoying when the "secret" photos, for example, of children playing by. loud noises can be prevented. (It may be that for this noise but also the same used UV filter with its pretty sharp edges partly responsible, but I have not tried it without, because I wanted to use the filter in any case.)
