The article (Seniorenhandy) totally wrong and not to be used as a real Seniorenhandy.
I bought this phone as an emergency phone for our ailing father.
Since this phone is touted with emergency button on the back, we decided for this phone.
BUT:
In practice, it turns this phone as absolutely not for the elderly with the need for an emergency button suitable out.
1. The mobile phone is the preferred choice, and can issue an emergency.
Instead, it has nonsensical functions, such as implementing a radio.
This radio is small slide switches activated at the side of what seniors need not absolutely
and accidental adjustment only leads to confusion.
Also SMS functionality should be disabled, as this is not really needed by many seniors
and will lead to confusion.
Even the key lock is activated with small with this target group alien slide switches ...
Totally wrong ... that's certainly better ..
2. The menu structure is not suitable for the target audience.
A. With a menu button is bound either to the phone book or in the system menu. (Depending on how
the Menu button is pressed (tilt up or tilt unetn)) ... totally unsuitable for elderly ...
Older people do not really want in the system menu ... she brings only confusion ...
B. If I have then been lucky and I ended up in the phone book, then I want my entry
Select and pick up the handset so that is elected ...
but does not work with this phone ...
Instead, I have to go the speed dial even navigate a menu to finally sometime dialing
my interlocutor activate ...
Conclusion:
From a technophile theorist at the actual target group designed by and for seniors
not suitable with emergency buttons required ...
