Appearance of the figure (1 Star)
The appearance of the figure is just great. Jack Skellington is hit the right note and the pose is strongly reminiscent of the iconic initial sequence of Nightmare before Christmas. Lovingly painted and processed stable and great.
VOICE (1 Star)
This star I forgive only if the character has the well-known from film and television original voice. Here Disney has spared no expense or effort and as already committed in the film (1993) Alexander Goebel. Especially because of the long time lag between game and film (22 years old), I was very happy about it. The voice contributes much to the charm of the character.
Creative implementation of the specific nature / GAMEPLAY (2 stars)
The creative realization is just great succeeded. The comments of the figure evoke memories of the film and make you smile often. The gameplay is also very mature. So Jack usual, with his fists fights not, as with other characters through levels, but missed his opponents dismal heart attack. I had to laugh when I tried the moves for the first time. The figure is only playable in the Toybox! But for that. Both in 1.0 and in 2.0
LEVEL-UP OPPORTUNITIES (0 stars)
As with all Disney characters Infinity 1.0, there is a small deduction here. All characters from Disney Infinity 2.0 have an additional, often very creative "finishing move". This does not apply to the figures of 1.0, unfortunately, so that it applies only to increase the standard attacks and abilities.
CONCLUSION
A perfect successful figure. Both visually and playfully. Just a pity that the figure was not only published for 2.0. I would have liked Jack Skellingtons "finishing move"! But still ... a strong buy recommendation!
