Nostalgic Fresh

Accordingly nostaligisch I went up to the first pass of the game, which I had now completed after 75 hours. It felt right from the beginning quite familiar to, was a but at the latest when the first village feel which is not only reminiscent of old stuff here, but is built on the experience of the old games to its own version to provide a good foundation on can be made to some things differently.

The game world Eora and specifically the areas which we visited in the game are well thought out and interesting but also homogeneous. Initially, many items are still new and you have to but incorporated gradually we learn more and as the world is well-brought to life. I'm curious how it will be structured in the future.

The story of the game I also liked good although just have to say that it proceeds more slowly quite alone through the game mechanics and you need a little more staying power. Finally, however, it dissolves well and I think it's good how much influence it has on certain decisions, both in the main quest as well as side quests.
These are very interesting for the most part and motivate with a lot of great stories and of course, good rewards.

The combat mechanics I also liked very well. This is indeed pretty close to the old D & D games on it, but at the time not quite so complex and well coordinated than in Baldur's Gate II. Most of the stuff but really play well. Some items may need to be a little more balanced as the excessive Druid.

However, the classes are all in all well and especially class exclusive mechanisms like generate the wounds of the monk are refreshing and exciting.

The graphics I also liked very much because I am also very on the picturesque design. This reinforces the impression that you are playing an interactive book. It's all very gemählich, but you can very well engage in it and really sink into the world.

Sound Technically, the game is also not a weakness. Beautiful music and sounds good. However, it could be a few more issues. Perhaps the increases coming through add-ons.

Short yet to technology - with me the game ran very consistent. I was able to record any significant bugs and had in the 75 hours a single crash. The first patch has also the performance increased again, so that I could still play very smoothly on my old carrot. Super!

So all in all a very very good RPG. I did not think that it would grab me so. I wait for the things to come here and just start another run. You can finally play a lot very different.
