not a bad program ... with limitations

I have Q2014 installed on three computers. 2x and 1x Q2008 Q2010 was available. On all computers, the installation went very smoothly and the old data were fully available after a short conversion. Perfect.

Q2014 has a completely new design is true. The first thought was "Oh God, this is taking a while to find your way." So that was it. It searches for the first time some rum, but who will regularly work with Quicken, the hang of it quickly. After about a week, and almost daily work, I got used to it and feel the new surface in Nachherein than better, clearer and more user-friendly. The often criticized "triste" impression with the new color scheme does not bother me in the least. Quicken is just not a game but a financial application, because the color scheme does not have to be colorful and beautiful primary and practically. This implementation is well done in my opinion. A certain amount of leeway for personal adjustments still would have been nice, however.

Q2014 has thrown some old features overboard (which these are, was in other reviews already described in detail). Here you should before buying to decide for themselves how important this one is. I'm missing not because I have not used anyway.

POSITIVE:
+ Installation & converting old data went on 3 computers without problems, even with Q2008 files
+ New design (getting used to, but after actually not bad)
+ The Online Banking (me the real meaning of this software) is used comfortably, reliably and clearly
+ The program on a current PC running fast and stable (yet experienced similar no crashes on Win7)
+ Quicken Deluxe includes two licenses

NEGATIVE:
- No automatic foreign currency and share price update (unless you're willing to pay a subscription for it ... great, especially since every bank has this feature on their website)
- Product activation required (alas, we tried this after a new installation of the computer, then you may phone minutes to talk to the technical service.)
- Do not customer-friendly support; only a toll special call number
- SEPA Direct Debit (yet) present (should actually come as an update in October ... OK, to 01:02:14, it will probably be probably what)

That reminds me of these negative points would be important, I feel obliged to deduct two stars.
