hanebüchenes, Dröge and highly implausible "rollercoaster drama" in ungekonnt and unsuccessful "bemühter" Director. Why then still 2 stars? There are two movie highlights: 1. Highlight: Two excellent actors. Quite brilliant - as usual - Pierce Brosnan, and - also very talented and convincing - his "film-daughter-to-be", the character Astrid. (The other performers are unfortunately mediocre to absolutely untalented). 2. Highlight: The Italian landscapes and - (only there) - partially beautiful film images - (eg in the lemon plantation.). I forced myself to watch the movie to the end, because I have a very good, but at least had expected a solid entertainment by many, partly very euphoric reviews. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. In this category there are so many wonderful films with depth, which carry the designation comedy rightly. Small selection: Under the Tuscan Sun, a good year, French Kiss, Letters to Juliet, Queen to Play, SIDEWAYS, Bottle Shock, About Time, Priceless, My First Mister, in flagrante, a perfect place, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, IRENE, The Invention of Lying, Married Life, Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day, an immoral wife, Romantics Anonymous, SUNSHINE CLEANING, Mrs Henderson Presents, MEET THE Rizzo, WIN WIN, IN GOOD COMPANY, Le Havre ... and much more ..
