Not Arca-Swiss compatible!

In spite of what Cullmann claim on their website this clamp is not compatible with most of the better known Arca-Swiss style plates manufacturers, like Really Right Stuff, Wimberley, or Kirk. I own camera and lens plates and Replacement Lens feet by All These brands and They Do not FIT into Cullmann quick release plate. I tested Cullmann CONCEPT ONE OXC355 clamp with the aforementioned brands and some of the less expensive stuff by Sirui, Mengs and Sunwayfoto and some generic stuff and neither of them is compatible with this clamp. They are all too thick. Only the slender plate Cullmann That Comes With The clamp is a tight fit.

Its a pity, Because the idea behind Cullmann Concept One system is sound. Its quite easy to exchange plates and the clamp makes a solid overall impression. It would even safely hold some of the heavier stuff like long lenses, if only it what compatible with Arca-Swiss style plates and feet.

So unless you are willing to limit yourself to the few plates made by Cullmann I would strongly advise to look for another quick-release clamp.
