Not as optimal as expected

After the excellent reviews here, the expectations were high to the device. But only a few have been met. Apparently, most reviewers have previously had bad experiences with various Gritter, but this one rated spreader even objectively, falls for me the judgment mediocre from.

About the positive aspects nothing more need be said, I agree with most to.

But annoying I find the following points:
- The spring closes the opening of the spreader vieeel too strong, so you already after 1 minute gets a cramp in the index finger and the opening button can hardly operate. Especially when you fully open it (= highest scattering setting), the costs borne force is brutal.
- It almost always requires the greatest opening, both at grass seeds (yet understandable) as well as fertilizer (not understandable). The transport of the material to be spread out (it is a small rotating wings at the bottom) is just not an optimum solution, thus you have to as I said usually choose the largest opening and to shake still plenty for something "flow well".
- The distribution is very much more uniformly than with the Gritter, but by design rather "linkslastig" because here first enters the grit to the rotation disk.

At the end of these 3 points mean that you loose with the unit can not run ahead in one hand, but shaking with both hands and has to run the device in rotation.

Better than a Streuwagen the unit is well, but in need of improvement.
