Strict chemical smell: After unpacking of the plastic wrap the bag smelled so so for chemicals or solvents that I first for a long time to soak in soapy water in the bath, then dry and let air out. Even after the unpleasant odor was still noted, but tolerable. Not a good advertisement for a product in which one wants to transport an animal.
Incorrect sizing charts: Both on the packaging as well as here in the item description is an indication of size of 50 x 30 x 22 cm to find. This simply is not true. The bag is (external dimensions) approximately 50 x 30 x 30 cm in size. Probably the manufacturer calls this one dimension much smaller degree, because it "almost" the IATA regulations for hand luggage (max. 50 x 30 x 20 cm) are observed. Many airlines rules for movements of cats and dogs in the cabin (PETC) that the bag / box may have a maximum cabin baggage dimensions. If you buy this bag for use as a "flight bag" (as we did), then provides you due to the oversize to the good will of the ground crew from. We have at least gone well twice.
Low longitudinal stability: After having a couple of times folded the bag flat again, it is about the stability of the upper longitudinal edges (along the zippers) only bad shape, the upper pocket edge bends then slightly inward, and the animal has correspondingly less space in the height. Here a stiffening ability would be very useful.
