Technically, Jack and Meg (brother and sister, and if one believes the former lovers and couples if one believes some music press Detroit) do nothing that ever been done before. Their garage rock-tinged bluesy rock "filthy" keys must have 30 years of existence already but somehow they manage to design a teeming vitality album. Probably not their best achievement to date, the most attractive way for me remains "Hotel Yorba" where acoustic guitar and Jack White seems ready to break a vocal cord at all times make good mixture. The rest of the album is the same tone and we can blame the presence of some securities that may seem "off topic".
