I tested it with a NEX7 on a AF-S 14-24 mm G ED f.2,8 on a AF-S 24-70 mm and a f.2,8G ED AF-S VR 70-200 f.2,8 mm G IF-ED. Unfortunately the adapter does not work on the last objective city, the 70-200. The adapter control projection misses the control tongue of the diaphragm of the lens, so no possible training.
Then, with this kind of adapter, you have to like the old trimmings, all photos are pifffomètre to snuff. All diaphragm values, f2.8 to f22, are spread over a range of ten millimeter. No fixed mark and no moving frame, so if you made the freehand photo, go your way.
Now if have time and a tripod, it can be a good alternative if you have old goals, or before you pay those who are truly compatible with your device.
Expect laborious settings before you can make a good photo, and even with the focus peaking of Nex.
In my opinion personel, I will end by "long live autofocus"
