I was looking for a replacement of two 20W G4 halogen lamps in our hood. The previous reviews had me convinced and I risked it without additional LED transformer to try. Like other reviewers, I had the connections minimal cut (approximately 2 mm) so that the LED optimally fit into the reflectors. Result: The LED light almost perfect. Topic transformer is apparently not an issue, however, the strength of the air draft was already displayed by LED, so there is probably a "LED-compliant" transformer was already installed. The LED subjectively not differ in brightness and light color of the halogen lamps. Flicker noise in any form None. The only shortcoming and the reason for only 4 stars: The light color of the LED modules is slightly different, it is not absolutely identical. For me, however, no reason to take action. Now the hood can be used without having to think about the next electricity bill permanently illuminated. Goal achieved :).
