Which of course right that catches your eye:
Compared to the pockets of the Retrospective and also to Urban Disguise series
is scheduled here for pleasantly low Think Tank ratios of price.
I will therefore show also try was where saved here.
Application purpose for which I had put my bag:
D700 + 3 1.4er prime lenses (without lens hoods but with Lee adapter rings)
+ Lee 100mm filter system (= Einschlagtuch 3 100x150mm filter holder + + 105mm Polarizer)
Previously, I had used the Retrospective 5, which had generally been more closely
but with the mounted adapter rings for the filter system, it did not fit more simply.
The Retrospective 10 I have also, but this is partly on the intended use
too big, so I have what wanted in the range between 5 and 10 Retrospective.
(The Retrospective 7 was not an option, it differs in size from barely 10,
is because the iPad compartment even wider!)
Who umguckt on to the think tank side, which will be noted that by
the Urban Disguise series only fairly large bags are offered,
So I'm assuming that the Sub Urban Disguise rather the successor
the Urban Disguise, because a new series represent.
The biggest criticism of the smaller Urban Disguise bags was safe
the zipper. Größera cameras you could only get very cumbersome from the
Pocket and back into it.
This criticism has accepted and it is now a peripheral
Been fitted zipper (its quality but slightly behind those
the Urban Disguise series).
Problem: whom to wear the bag you have the zip on
strained shoulder move past that is sometimes not so easy.
Also worth mentioning: the pockets of Sub Urban Disguise series have a
firmer and less flexible outer skin.
A double-edged sword: on the one hand the bag retains its shape better,
is possibly also to be designated as a robust, on the other hand it puts worse
on the body of, as example. the Retrospectives and is therefore more likely to be described as stiff.
After many text I will offer you a brief Pro / Con list:
+ Reasonable price (for Think Tank ratios)
+ Use of partitions included (raincape also)
+ Many small compartments with sensible divisions
o rigid outer shell (see above)
o zipper arrangement better than the Urban Disguise series, but still not optimal
o Shoulder compared with other manufacturers pocket well, compared to the Retrospectives he looks rather cheap
- Shoulder strap not removable / replaceable
- You can not fix the bags Modular series (as in the Retrospectives)
- Look goes rather towards typical camera bag than at the previous series
Conclusion:
It was certainly out to listen, without blemish, the Sub Urban Disguise is not, in my view.
Had me frankly also wondered at the price.
Sure, I like the Retrospectives of the pure material quality better, but what good is it
me if it does not exist in the size I need?
One must also keep in mind that the cost Retrospectives just twice.
5 stars is there anyway. Why?
The criticisms that I install are rather small things and in my opinion are the only
Alternatively, the Retrospectives with its much higher price. Therefore, I welcome the fact that you look
decided at Thinktank, offer a somewhat more favorable series.
